Finance & Budgeting

The main goals and the Results of the Finance and Budgeting Committee are shown in the table below:

Goals Results
i. Insure sound fiscal management This is an ongoing process and several process and procedures have been implemented.
ii. Computerization of accounting Computerization has occurred using the Quicken program.
iii. Manage fundraising There is much work to be done here but we now have two ways of gifting to Historical Society
iiii. Oversee membership An individual has been appointed to oversee this activity.

The Lac du Bonnet & District Historical Society acknowledge that we are on Treaty 1 territory and that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
