Working in the present while preserving the past for now and the future

Play the Listening Room

The Lac du Bonnet Listening Room is Eastern Manitoba’s up and coming music venue.

These intimate concerts, held in the 115-year-old St. John’s Heritage Church, feature some of the best Manitoban and Canadian artists.
The historical setting and natural acoustics lends an authentic charm to the music.

The Listening Room was developed by a team of musicians and indie music lovers as a way to promote independent music to the residents and visitors of Lac du Bonnet while helping the fundraising efforts of the Lac du Bonnet & District Historical Society.

Our artistic direction team is always on the lookout for amazing talent to bring to Lac du Bonnet.
Our goal is to host a concert event approximately every three weeks.
We would love to work with local artists looking for a stage and for musicians passing through the area who want to fill their schedule. We are open to presenting music from all genres.

The Lac du Bonnet & District Historical Society acknowledge that we are on Treaty 1 territory and that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
